Dessislava Pachamanova, Ph.D
Dessislava Pachamanova, Ph.D., is an expert in the design and application of advanced analytical tools to numerous areas, including risk management, healthcare policy and operations, business strategy, and engineering. She is Professor and Zwerling Family Endowed Chair at Babson College and Research Affiliate at MIT. Dr. Pachamanova’s research and consulting employ tools in advanced data visualization, financial modeling, robust optimization, simulation, predictive analytics, and text analytics. She teaches courses in analytics and computational finance at the undergraduate, MBA, and executive education levels, and co-designed Babson’s undergraduate Business Analytics Concentration, MBA Business Analytics Concentration, and Masters in Business Analytics curricula. She serves on the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science (INFORMS) Pro Bono Analytics Committee, the INFORMS Professional Development Committee, and the INFORMS Student Analytics Award Committee.
Dr. Pachamanova holds an A.B. from Princeton University and a Ph.D. from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
